AESA Awarded with € 1.631.340 project in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The Project “Technical Assistance to the coordination and supervision of the Eastern Congo Program (ECP): Post conflict Program” is expected to contribute to the consolidation of peace, reconciliation and the sustainable economic revival in the East of the DRC.

The Eastern Congo Program is focused on three distinct components which aim to:

1. the stabilization of the post-conflict crisis situations,
2. the attenuation of the effects of the crisis on the populations and
3. The creation of an enabling climate of the future implementation of the programmed assistance.

The global objective and the specific objective of the ECP decode the strategy on which the program is based, namely the strategy LRRD (Linking Relief, Rehabilitation and Development).

The specific objective of the service contract is thus the contribution to the Coordination and the supervision of the implementation of the ECP by providing support to the contract authority and to other partners involved in the project.

Agriconsulting Europe has the responsibility of setting up the Unit of Coordination of the ECP (ECPCU) and making it operational.
