AESA has been awarded the FWC Benef. 2013 – Ex post Evaluation of the Food Security Programme 2006 - Bangladesh

The overall objective of Food Security Programme 2006 (FSP) was to contribute to the achievement of MDG 1, the reduction of extreme poverty and hunger.

The purpose of this assignment is to carry out the ex-post evaluation of three components (School Feeding, Nutrition Surveillance and Soil Fertility Components) of the Food Security Programme 2006 (FSP 2006).

The ex-post evaluation is going to i) assess how adequately FSP and its Components have achieved objectives; ii) identify some gaps, lessons to be learnt or identify actions that could be completed to ensure sustainability of the achievements and inform new project design especially in terms of food and nutrition security and social protection.

The evaluation will be done through reports study, interviewing beneficiaries and available staff of implementing agencies, implementing partners, key informants discussion with public and private sector service providers, discussion with local government officials and other donor agencies.
