AESA through its “Governance and Social development department” supported the National Focal Point of Georgia in organising the National Team Meeting (Annual Meeting of the “Interagency Coordinating Council of Georgia for Combating Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Threats”) in Tbilisi the past December 11th 2019 at the Courtyard Marriot Hotel in Tbilisi (TBC).
The discussed topics were:
• Overview of the NAP Implementation in the last 12 months and overall CBRN risk mitigation activities by the Government of Georgia
• NAP Progress and main accomplishments of 2019 by the secretariat of the CBRN Interagency Coordination Council; Review of ongoing regional projects and ensure common awareness; Review of upcoming project proposals and ensure common agreement across the CBRN National Team
• Workshop on Georgian NAP Review
• Discuss steps for a next NAP after the 2015-2109 NAP is complete and achieved.
