AESA is proud to announce the recent award of the framework project: "Communication and Visibility of the Programme Support to the Sustainable Commercialisation of Zambia's Smallholder Farmers".
To support the Government of Zambia's policy objectives to reduce rural poverty and malnutrition and to improve rural livelihoods.
To increase smallholder farmers' productivity, income and employment opportunities, with a gender- sensitive approach. The Programme intervention logic is based on a holistic support to business oriented smallholder farmers that will enable them to graduate from low productive subsistence-based agriculture towards more diversified and market-oriented farming. The promotion of agricultural diversification away from the current maize dominated system will contribute to increased dietary diversity leading to better food and nutrition security.
Communication and visibility of the European Union is a legal obligation for all external actions funded by the European Union and this specific project wants to Harmonise the Communication Strategies of each single action carried out under the Programme and comprehensively sensitize about EU-Zambia Partnership.
The project will be managed by Ms. Clara GARRONE.
