The consultant will be tasked to assist TADCO in the development of a new company (Newco) and defining its business plan. The Newco should incorporate a new vision and be focussed on the marketing actitivies of olive oil products produced by the old company
In particular, the present contract will cover only a preliminary stage of the feasibility study. The consultant will provide a comprehensive description of the olive oil market by analysing the offer and the demand of olive and olive oil products. Moreover the consultant will define the marketing opportunities of the Newco by describing the potential market share and the positioning of the Newco olive products in the target market.

The final output will include a description of the offer and demand side for olive and olive oil products together with a trade survey covering various aspects ranging from trade standards to certifications, anlaysis of the competition, distribution system etc. and a consumer survey covering perceptions of the leading olive oil brands in the Saudi market, the brand anatomy of competitor brands, and the characteristics, benefits, values, emotion, personality, user image and communication strategies and actions that make the leading brands distinctive in consumers’ minds. TADCO will be provided with tje positioning of NewCo olive products in the target markets, and the suggested strategies and tactics for facing competition, including the distinctive and relevant benefits that will appeal to the targeted customer segment market and the assessment of potential threats from new players into the market;
