AESA is proud to announce that has been awarded the EU project «Provision of Long-term expertise and support staff for the intellectual property rights action for Africa – Lot 2, Lot 3 & Lot 5».
Contract value: 1.103.900 €
Starting date: 4 January 2021
Duration: 4 years
The purpose of these contracts is to acquire services to reinforce the project management team that is implementing the above-mentioned action in collaboration with the African Union, OAPI (Organisation Africaine de la Propriété Intellectuelle) and ARIPO (African Regional Intellectual Property Organization).
The Overall Objective of the action is to facilitate intra-African Trade and African and European investment.
The Specific Objective is that Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) are created, protected, utilized, administered and enforced across Africa, in line with international and European best practice and in support of the AfCFTA and the African Union’s Agenda 2063.
The contract will be managed by Mr. Alessandro PAOLONI and Mr. Diego LOPEZ DEL RIO.
