"Improving the Marine Aquaculture value chain through technical assistance and the delivery of the required supplies"

In the framework of the AFD funded programme “Support to Agricultural Small & Medium Enterprises (SASME)”, AESA successfully developed a Web-based Marketing Information System on fish prices for the General Authority for Fish Resources Development of Egypt (GAFRD).

The system has been developed using a web-based application development technology that utilizes World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards & technologies through a browser. The system has the scope of storing the daily fish prices in order to determine the price swing of the Egyptian fish market. This system helps the Egyptian aquaculture and fishery sectors at improving their planning ability.

MKIS is currently active in GAFRD website, it can be accessed from any laptop or smartphone and provides all types of data processing as saving in the database and enquiring using some parameters in addition to printing or exporting to other Office formats.
